Ohm Walsh Series
Our Walsh Mk-2 Series loudspeakers produce state-of-the-art sonic performance. They are the ultimate in 3-D Ohm Theatre for Music and Film systems, utilizing Ohm's unique Coherent Line Source Driver. The main Walsh Mk-2 Series has three models. All three give you Full Room Stereo so everyone in your listening room can enjoy precise stereo from a wide Sweet Sweep. Their naturalness and accuracy from their superb WaveForm Fidelity transport you to the concert hall or film location.
The Walsh 100 Mk-2, our least expensive model, works perfectly for 3-D Ohm Theatre systems in smaller rooms, even on action films, and it can produce concert level music in small to medium sized rooms. Their bass goes down to below 30Hz -- you won't need a subwoofer.
The Walsh 200 Mk-2, can play fill a room twice the size with the same sound levels. Also, our Walsh 200 Mk-2's go slightly deeper in bass for more dramatic effects. The Walsh 300 Mk-2 can fill rooms four times as large as the Walsh 100 Mk-2s. The Walsh 300 Mk-2 goes down to an incredible 20 Hz--well below bass drums and solidly into the earthquake range. A pair of Walsh 300 Mk-2s can match the bass output of two typical 18" subwoofers. There are two special Walsh speakers to complete the series. The soon to be released, top-of-the-line, Walsh 5 Mk-2 is the result of a design exercise to produce the best sound with Price-No-Object. The original Walsh 5s have received international acclaim, including both The Absolute Sound and Stereophile. When Audio reviewed these unique products, they called them "a true masterpiece of the speaker designers art." The Walsh 5s will have 81-position controls so you can optimize their sound for your room and taste. This will be a world-class speaker in that no speaker in the world surpasses the Walsh 5 Mk-2s in all respects. The Omni G3 Mk-2 has its own special place: in the rear of the best home theatre rooms. It is the smallest of the Walsh speakers, but nearly matches the large ones for the deep bass and life-like midrange that is the hallmark of all Walsh speakers. The G3's full 360 degrees radiation pattern is optimal for the rear speakers.
